Mode of action
- Administered directly to the swollen membrane cause alpha-adrenergic effects resulting in mucosal vasoconstriction. This results in shrinkage of mucosal oedema, promotes drainage, improves ventilation and thereby remove nasal stuffiness.
- The decongestant effect of topical drops is more effective than oral agents, especially on an immediate basis.

Indication
- Symptomatic relief of nasal and nasopharyngeal mucosal congestion associated with common cold, sinusitis, and allergy, acute and chronic rhinitis
- Better visualization of nasal and nasopharyngeal areas during diagnostic maneuvering
- Reduce nasal mucosal swelling prior to surgery

2 to 3 drops into each nostril, 2 times daily, or as directed by the physician
