Mode of action
- Benzoic acid prevents bacterial infections

- Their combination is used to treat skin irritation and inflammation caused by burns, insect bites, fungal infections, and eczema

- Fungal infections like tinea pedis, tinea corporis, tinea capitis

Dose
Adults and children: a thin layer of ointment or cream should be applied twice daily to all infected areas for at least 4 weeks.
