  • Mode of action

    Calcium and Vitamin D3 Tablet

    Calcium

    • A mineral that is an essential part of bones and teeth
    • Is necessary for normal functioning of heart, nerves, cells, muscle, bone and blood clotting systems

    Vitamin D3

    • Also known as cholecalciferol
    • Responsible for enhancing intestinal absorption of calcium, iron, magnesium phosphate and zinc

  • Indication

    • Hypocalcemia (low serum calcium levels in the blood)
    • Osteoporosis (weak bones due to low bone density)
    • Rickets (a condition in children involving softening of the bones)
    • Osteomalacia (a softening of bones involving pain)
    • Hypoparathyroidism (decreased activity of the parathyroid gland)

  • Dose

    1 tablet 2-3 times daily with meals as directed by the Physician
