Clotrimazole: It is an imidazole derivative, interacts with yeast 14-α demethylase, a cytochrome P-450 enzyme that converts
lanosterol to ergosterol, an essential component of the membrane. Results in inhibits ergosterol synthesis, resulting in increased cellular permeability.
Gentamycin: It is macrolide derivative. It is a bacterial protein synthesis inhibitor by inhibiting ribosomal translocation, by binding to the 50S rRNA of the large bacterial ribosome subunit.
Beclomethasone; it is a corticosteroid cross cell membrane and bind with high affinity to specific cytoplasmic receptor, results in inhibition of leukocyte infiltration at the site of inflammation, interference in the function of mediators of inflammatory response, suppression of humoral immune responses, and reduction in edema or scar tissue. The anti-inflammatory actions of corticosteroids are thought to involve phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins, lipocortins, which controls the biosynthesis of potent mediators of inflammation such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes.
