Clotrimazole: It is an imidazole derivative, interacts with yeast 14-α demethylase, a cytochrome P-450 enzyme that converts lanosterol to ergosterol, an essential component of the membrane. Results in inhibits ergosterol synthesis, resulting in increased cellular permeability.
Beclomethasone: it is a corticosteroid cross cell membrane and bind with high affinity to specific cytoplasmic receptor, results in inhibition of leukocyte infiltration at the site of inflammation, interference in the function of mediators of inflammatory response, suppression of humoral immune responses, and reduction in edema or scar tissue. The anti-inflammatory actions of corticosteroids are thought to involve phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins, lipcortins, which controls the biosynthesis of potent mediators of inflammation such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes.
Neomycin: It is an aminoglycoside antibiotics, acts by binding to several site at 30s & 50s ribosomal subunit as well as to their interface-freeze initiation, interfere with polysome and cause the misreading of mRNA code.
