Mode of action
- A second-generation Fluoroquinolone
- A broad-spectrum antibiotic active against both gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria
- Functions by inhibiting DNA gyrase, a type II topoisomerase, and topoisomerase IV, enzymes necessary to separate bacterial DNA, thereby inhibiting cell division

Dose
