    • An antiulcer drug, of class ‘Proton Pump Inhibitors
    • Rapid onset of action than other PPI
    • Superior gastric acid control than Omeprazole and Lansoprazole
    • Lesser drug interactions

  • Indication

    • Gastric ulcer (GU)
    • Peptic ulcer disease (PUD)
    • Maintenance of healing of erosive or ulcerative GERD
    • Healing of erosive and ulcerative GERD
    • Healing of duodenal ulcer
    • Treatment of symptomatic GERD
    • Treatment of pathological hypersecretory conditions (Zollinger-Ellison syndrome)
    • Helicobacter pylori eradication to reduce risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence

  • Dose

    Adults/Elderly: Generally 20mg once daily in the morning.
