It is an adrenergic agonist that selectively agonizes α₁, partially α₂ adrenergic receptors, results in nasal vasoconstriction by the two ways: first, it increases the diameter of the airway lumen. Second, it reduces fluid exudation from post capillary venules.
Nasal congestion
Headache, insomnia, hypertension, nasal stinging, dryness of mouth and throat, sneezing
Dry rhinitis, pregnancy, lactation, and hypertension
Adult: Instill 2-3 drops into each nostril bid-tid for 7 Days.
Child: 3 month to 12 year 1-2 drops into each nostril once or bid for 7days.
